Elizabeth (Betsy)'s Story
I married Jim Anderson in '78, and we divorced 15 years later. Today - we do our best parenting, and are friends I would say. His current wife is a wonderfully, grounded woman.
My back got "trashed" in 2000 doing large home improvement projects, so now I'm seeking my Social Security Disability benefits. We're currently appealing.

Retirement is fun, but came a little prematurely. I would've kept working until my back stopped me (which wasn't too far off). Got 31.5 years in at Northwestern Bell - now Qwest Communications. Loved the work. Office "clicks"? Hated them. Pretty much just kept to myself. Talked to everyone.
I just keep putting one foot in front of the other.
